Help us help you better!

FD3S Engineering is going through some much needed changes. Don't worry, it is still the same crazy owner and staff, but to help serve you better, we need input!

Firstly: We need a new name. FD3S served it's purpose, but also confused 90% of people. We are taking suggestions on our facebook page for a new name, please add yours!
Suggestions so far:
Rx Performance (Nick B.) - A prescription for more power! (Ok, that last bit is just me being corny.)

Secondly: We are cleaning up the shop to make a new waiting area! This means all those parts Marc has stashed in the back need to go AWAY. We will be making a HUGE forsale thread, liquidating tons of spare parts.

Thirdly: How can we help you better? We exist because of you guys, the cars we love, and the community around it. If you can think of a way we can help you in a better way, post it or PM it if you don't want it to be public.

We have some exciting news for all who are local- We are now a OEM parts dealer, Hose Technique dealer, Rtek dealer, and our new website will be up soon! Local same day pickup will be available for most parts!

Even more exciting is we are finally tooling up for ENGINE REBUILDS!

2011 is going to be a great year, so let us know how we can help you better!

from what ive heard your guys is work is kinda slow paced. but everything ive seen has been really really nice work. but maybe find a way to speed up turn around time? that would greatly increase business. i can see you guys getting a lot more business for dealing all that stuff. would be even better if you were able to undercut the mazda dealers in the PDX area.

its really good to see that you guys are now dealers for all that ****, you guys are now the closest place i can get OEM parts from. are you guys going to stock a lot of these parts? stuff thats going to be very popular i.e. gaskets, hoses, filters, ect ect.

you guys doing in house rebuilds? would be nice to see another place in the area to do this, but you have a huge competitor in the area so ths might be a struggling point if the price isnt right.

It's so good to see the shop is actually expanding and advancing, Marc! Can't believe you are going to be a dealer for OEM parts! I am done with Fall term and in town for xmas break now. I will have to pay a visit someday.

I always admire a shop with a cool lobby. Maybe go look around at some other shops, get a feel for what you guy's like and don't like. I'm not very farmiliar with you guy's but if your rotary spacific (and it sounds like you are, make the lobby rotary specific (old rotor housings on display, posters of rotary powered cars ect...) Have some beverages like coffee or something in the lobby. I dunno?? Just throwing out ideas. I know up here in the PNW we love our bean!
