I'm in no way saying what I have done to my car or me owning it makes it more valuable. In all honesty an all original car is more valuable int he long run than a modified car, but again why would you want something you own to become less valuable? It just doesn't make sense. If you were to buy a house would you want it to depreciate? NO! Because you want the equity. It's the same thing to an extent with a car. You want it to keep its value, if not grow.

That's an elaboration of my $.02

Not that anything said in this thread will make a difference, but IMO your opinion is ludicrous. Opinions are opinions. Don't take that as an "attack" like the immature kids would, please

Ok I wil chime in here..
Often times dealerships offer incentives, and benefits from buying from them.
Some of them even offer warrenties on older cars. Not to mention all of the DMV paperwork can usually be done at the dealer when you buy the car. Also they offer financing for those that do not have the cash to pay for it all at once.
Some of these things are why dealers charge more and...
in my opinion if the price is right, the benefits of buying from a dealer can outweigh buying from a private party.
Just my $.02.

I dissagree, from personally being riped off by a dealer. not just by price, but what I paid a riduclous price for.

You know, opinion is just as legitimate as fact, otherwise all we would have would be history books. How boring is that?! Opinion backed by examples and other opinions is what every good argument is based upon. That was done on most of the posts here in Joe's thread and so it is "all good". I try to read threads and posts on the forum with a open and flexible mind (although I have been guilty of doing the opposite a time or two) as long as the threads and posts are not from Pluto and serve as info. or are thought-provoking. So I appreciate Joe's thread and the other posts. Just my .02.

tis cool, thanks for the input. I Just wouldnt want my house to go up, nor would i want others, as i do in the car world i would be dissapointed there too. Its harder to get them weather you have them now or will try to get one later.. I feel bad for those who want to get into rotarys just toi find the value of an FB is now as great as a top end FC(or worse)...

Robert: i also have no idea how these buisness's work, i am a little ignorant in these areas, and should learn more before i bitch about it

Thanks for all the comments, and conversation.

Oh and...................Brap Brap Brap Brap Brap Brap Brap!!!!! FTW!

I just thought of a great idea.

When you go to sell your car, don't sell it for what its worth, but rather less than what it's worth, this will help lower the cost to buy them...

i plan on it! When i sell my FB it will not be for more than 3k, i am taking it up to seattle to have the body and paint done, and to pinnaple to make sure all is tuned well... I will have about 9k into it, so i will ask about 3k... Thats the car game, and thats why i like it...

If i were to restore my superbee to original it would take about 35K (done right), i might be able to sell it for 22k... This is how it is, and i wouldnt have it anyother way.. Keeps it able for those who truly want to keep and love thier cars from selling them, and those who want to get into them a chance to afford it!
