Hello! Questions and semi-introduction

Hello! Im SR, New member here, Here is my intro post if anybody is interested: https://www.rx7club.com/introduce-yo...tions-1144849/

Anyway, I wanted to ask about the topic of tuning shops, I saw a thread on them I think but I cant find it now but was that ever figured out? Currently the shop i go to (not for tuning but for help mechanically) is Jerrys little car shop (IDK what people think about them but its the closest shop i could find that does rotaries), ill soon have a power FC in my fd and was wondering where good tuning shops would be? I'm not trying to make crazy power or stretch the limits of things but if they could at least make my tune somewhat stable.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me the time of day!

Welcome! Best bets that I know in that region are Intec Racing and Force-Fed in Vancouver, BC.

Yep, those are the only two "nearby" I've heard of as well.

Out of curiosity, how is your experience with Jerry's?

Jerrys has been pretty good, He uh,,,prefers keeping cars stock unless the engine blows as when i asked if he did porting he said he usually only does when the engine blows and likes to use the stuff they have from oreillys but over all pretty good
hes also down the road from me so also kinda bias :P but yeah if its not out of your way hes a good shop from the 4 times ive been there

Oh! Another thought. I don't know if you've already purchased the PowerFC but a good piece of advice would be to call the shops you're interested in and make sure they can work with it. I think Intec does both PowerFC and rotary tuning, and Force-Fed looks like they specialize in Microtech. Again, I don't know for sure, but best practice would be to give both of them a call to make sure they can do rotary tuning on a PowerFC.

Quick update, went to gut the interior and found the mess that was the aftermarket audio system which ended up shorting out the car, deciding to say **** it and rebuild it cause im not gonna deal with another nightmare like my old jeep had. Does anybody happen to know anywhere that does any porting services/wiring? i looked at atkins but it seems they only ship engines or do they work on vehicles in house? i would need the whole car rewired so if they also did wiring that would be pretty cool if not anybody know any good automotive wiring shops or should i just do it in the garage myself? Oh! one other thing, ive searched around online but havent had much luck but would anybody know of any shops that rebuild the automatic transmissions in the 7s? id like to keep it auto still but i know it probably wont handle the 400hp street port build im planning.

As always thanks for any advice or if im being dumb LMK!
