Unhappy heater fan

my heater fan will not work if it is below 32 degrees out side. if it has been sitting for a couple of days it will blow water out from under the dash on the passenger side when i turn the fan on to the heater. i think i have a leak. has anyone else had this problem? it is a 86 GXL.

Sounds like you have a bad heater core. Only cure is to replace it. And its a PITA.

Do you have coolant or water? (I hope your using coolant/antifreeze).

I have the whole blower motor/heatercore assembly.
