My Photobucket account is public so you can see pics of the car there. It's not even close to running though. Engine is still on the stand, need a clutch and lots of labor to install all the other stuff I do have before it moves under it's own power. http://s20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...20RX7%20Sport/

The car started as a Grassroots Motorsports challenge entry, but I gave up on that. Florida is too far and I spent too much. The project hasn't gotten much attention lately. The vinyl graphics were done by a friend. I painted the roof white as the paint there had gone bad. The red ball is for Japan's flag, but the Mopar M is for the power plant. Dave came up with the Ninja idea/theme.

Nothing is very trick. RS-R race springs on KYB AGX dampers, S4 T II LSD rear end, 17x8 and 17x9" cheapo wheels from America's Tire Co and Bridgstone S-03 tires in 235/45 and 255/40R17, no interior to speak of. Engine is a healthy Dodge 273 and will be backed by a Supra R154 5-speed. Cheap Momo race seat.

S5 gauge cluster

I'm in need of a working S5 cluster that I can hook up and shake the car down with before I put in the Autometer gauges. I'll pay cash or am willing to trade some parts or whatever but I would need one for in less than 3 weeks. Heck, even if I could borrow it for a week that would be great.

I have some new pics with the '09 paint scheme and new body work that has been done. The car got wrecked before I finished all the changes so it looks like a racecar now...

I will also post some links to vids of '09 races

Yes. The shop is still open and though things are tight right now, I have a couple of FB and FC customers still coming back. I've got a guy with an FB that has a supercharged 13b here now that is getting a rebuild.

I'm alone here just like Andy was so getting to the phone can be tough and I get back to people when I can but things are steady anyway.

Awesome car I think that it is GREAT to see Rotary cars let alone RX-7s in Mini Stock Racing. I wish I could do this type of racing myself, much respect and please keep us posted. Dont pay attention to the negative comments as there is a few of us out there that truly love all types of racing and better yet love Nascar even more so to see something in the privateer level a very cool thing to see.
