got the fd up and running!
Hey guys just wanted to say hi and get to know everybody. I just got my fd up and running and I am enjoying breaking it a my fresh motor. I lived in seattle for a while but before moving back home to vancouver I lost my motor so I spent the last year getting it rebuilt the "right way" new housings, wiring harness, pfc, well pretty much everything. So I just wanted to say hi to everyone around the portland/vancouver area. So if you see a 93 black on black base fd its probably me.

welcome to the FD of the NW crew. be prepared to face all that FD stands for...especially "Financial Disaster." haha, but seriously, welcome and i'm glad another FD is registered on the forums.
Congrats! Did you rebuild the motor or shop? I think now we have 4 FD's in vancouver area now that I know of. If you see a blue not MB FD coming or going from PDX Airport to Battle Ground thats me. Have fun!

well I had my friend rebuild it who also has an fd up in seattle. That way I could afford to replace alot more stuff instead of doing a half *** build. I cannot wait to get this thing tuned.
Clean fd man^ I will keep a look out. You can find my car around jantzen beach most of the time(where i work). are you daily driving yours? what mods you got done?

My car is a bone stock 1995 Base Model (Brilliant Black)
I bought it with a blown motor form another forum member down in Arizona, then had it trucked up here.
I've been stocking up on parts, but find myself getting totally distracted and buying stuff that won't help me get my car running any sooner.

all the Portland/ Vancouver rotary guys should get together for a BBQ when it warms up!

+1 ^ what up baker? It would be really cool if we all can get something set up.
Sk8erpunk if I can do it over again I would by a car with a blown motor and save me the hassle of blowing it myself
but it did make me realize that if im gonna own this car I am gonna have to learn everything I can so I dont loose another. Props!
Who else likes the sound of a vancouver/portland meet? Maybe we should start a new thread to get some more attention???
