Got a buyer

Looks like a got a buyer for my 7. I will be getting the full asking price but the condition of the sale is that I will be paid in payments. I don't mind doing payments though because I have known the guy for a while, I know where he works, and I know where he lives along with all other ways to contact him. He will be paying $500 a month for 3 months and a formal and legal contract of the sale will be made with a witness' signature also. He already told me straight up that he doesn't want a title and would not expect one until his bill was paid in full. This guy has already driven my car several times... Back when it was still stock and still had all emissions equipment. He is in for a definate surprise on his next drive after he pays me the first $500. I have since removed all cats and is straight piped from stock header (yeah I know lame) to a long magnaflow. It has all emissions removed, Racing Beat Holley Intake (has been ported to make it open plenum), a modified Holley 600cfm 4bbl carb sitting on a 1" spacer, 2nd gen direct fire ignition using transistor trick and 2ng gen br7eq leading spark plugs along with new plug wires. He will be in for a great surprise when driving it! Well now that I will have it sold I will be able to use the money to start/complete my other project 7 (83 GS). Once plans for the project are finalized I will post what will be getting done to it.

Well I guess I will jack my own thread to announce that I have a new job! I am starting work shortly turning wrenches for a local used car dealership. Finally I will have my own stall/lift and will be doing more than just oil changes and miscelanious GM recall and warranty work.

Great to hear that you have a buyer. And even better that you have a good job. Are the hours better than before? I think that I know what your project is though, don't worry I will not spill the beans

I ahven't tried to hide my intentions. I am planning on modding a stock 83' GS model I got for free. The mods planned so far are 2gdfis, RB streetable header with 2.5" straight back exhuast to magnaflow, GSL LSD rear end from an 83' GSL, side draft setup with Dellorto 48 most likely, SS clutch line, heavy duty clutch (possibly lightweight flywheel also), urethane bushings wherever possible/advisable, of course emissions removal, and last in order...Painting after I put on the new bumper skins (primer grey likely, maybe it will be glossy some day?). My ultimate goal is to FI the sucker by dropping in a 13b and runnning Megasquirt. N/A baby!
