I just made final arrangements to get a new (ok, so low mile 
)
1JZ Twin turbo engine, and it's coming with my needed R154 Trans.
This is the biggest step! I still need to get a custom drive shaft,
motor mounts, and a rewired engine harness. The hard part is
still ahead, but the commitment is now complete.
Expect a 6-700~ RWHP FC running pump gas pretty soon. I feel
like a little kid on X-Mas

oh man....dude im rooting for you! I have yet to make a commitment about a swap too, but unfortunately if i do i have to sell any and every trace of rx7 blood in me. I am helping a buddy of mine right now piece together parts for a 2jz swap in a S14.
The problem i can see in having that kinda power in an FC is putting it down to the ground ..with traction.

Nah you don't have to sell it all, you just have to give yourself the chance
to try something new and different. I talked to a buddy and plan to build
a mirror car with a RE or 20B as a DD, and use this as track only.
