Getting my seven friday.

I was wondering if any of you could reccomend a local mechanic to have it looked at before i purchase it? Just want to cover my *** and all. And how much would that cost? Im in the portland area.

Bring it to me. Im less then 10 minutes away if you are in OC, Im working on 2 FD's at the moment and can give it a good inspection.

If you dont mind paying a arm and a leg, go see chris at the GT garage. Located in the same building as pinapple racing, which builds some nice motors.

spyder, i still have your number in a pm. mind if i call you round lunch to figure things out?


edit: Jesus 4fun, i finally get settled in on one, and then you throw that in on me. i think i would rather have an original motor though. and im only paying ten, and giving him my 97 taurus with 37 thousand miles.

That looks like a very sweet deal, good luck with the car, the original motor is a good and bad thing. 48,000 miles though is great. Just make sure you have enough left over for a rebuild.

Thats cool enjoy your new car, like others say keep a few $$$ around for the misc "happenings"

Holy cow! looks just like mine that I am selling! Great deal btw, I wouldn't let mine go for that! Oh see Chris at GT garage.....I still have my arms and legs, very affordable AND he knows what he is doing. Pineapple built my engine 4 years ago and really is THE MAN for rotaries, he willingly shares his info with you....sometimes for hours ;D

icemaster, i wont have anything after i buy it. im going all in, so to speak. but luckily, after the initial purchase, i will be able to save up like a ****, because im good at not blowing my money (other than buying this car, of course)
