Getting my seven friday.
I was wondering if any of you could reccomend a local mechanic to have it looked at before i purchase it? Just want to cover my *** and all. And how much would that cost? Im in the portland area.
EDIT: if it matters, im getting this one. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=en&cardist=10

Bring it to me. Im less then 10 minutes away if you are in OC, Im working on 2 FD's at the moment and can give it a good inspection.
If you dont mind paying a arm and a leg, go see chris at the GT garage. Located in the same building as pinapple racing, which builds some nice motors.

He has built 3 motors for me now. Give him a call
spyder, i still have your number in a pm. mind if i call you round lunch to figure things out?
edit: Jesus 4fun, i finally get settled in on one, and then you throw that in on me. i think i would rather have an original motor though. and im only paying ten, and giving him my 97 taurus with 37 thousand miles.

That looks like a very sweet deal, good luck with the car, the original motor is a good and bad thing. 48,000 miles though is great. Just make sure you have enough left over for a rebuild.

Holy cow! looks just like mine that I am selling! Great deal btw, I wouldn't let mine go for that! Oh see Chris at GT garage.....I still have my arms and legs, very affordable AND he knows what he is doing. Pineapple built my engine 4 years ago and really is THE MAN for rotaries, he willingly shares his info with you....sometimes for hours ;D
icemaster, i wont have anything after i buy it. im going all in, so to speak. but luckily, after the initial purchase, i will be able to save up like a ****, because im good at not blowing my money
