Finishing

We'll I've been trying to do a proper upgrade on my 89 for 3 years now and Im getting really fed up. It's been an education. So because Im disapointed with my results Im going outside the box (NW).

New plan, Im delivering my car to So-Cal, (guitarjunkie28, RotaryHeads.com) for a rebuild/repair and MT tune, in and out deal. Then Im flying down Oct 7th to pick it up (7stock8) and drive her home.

Dave, wants me to closer match my injector size so Im getting new primaries from RC and wants me to get a cooling mist. Also throwing in a Supra 4th gen fuel pump.

Life's an adventure and Im going to try something different - trying to keep it fun.

Pack your bag Margaret were going to 7stock8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope it all works out for you, if it is not worth it for the car, then it will at least be worth it to get to go to 7stock!

Let's see, Hayes installs my engine and I buy all the parts $3k bill,10 months, for garbage. $2k last weekend for rewire and tune but my motor is still blown. Pineapple/GT can fix it for $7k but can't guarantee anything over 250 hp.

So Cal, in and out, I drop it off, they pull the motor, rebuild the motor, reinstall the motor, break the motor in, tune the Microtech, I pick it up go to 7stock, caravan home with rotor heads. $2.5 - $3.5k depending on condition. throw in gas airline tickets, fun weekend. He says it's only 1 weeks work, and after just doing my 87 I believe him.

guitargunkie28 and Rez have a great reputation on teamfc3s.org - over many years - and do this kind of work and alot more radical cars than mine all the time.

Even though I'm temped Im not going to tell you all what I really think, lol, seriously.
