Okay, so I'm ultra bored at work for once in 9 months and I listed out all the things I still need to do on MS Project. Make's me depressed how much is still needed to be done. Couldn't even get it in one picture. Note: Most the timing takes into account I can only work on weekends on most these things.

Thanks for the cheer guys I really appreciate it.
I dropped the fuel tank today and will be fab'n up an internal swirl tank, that way it's in a protected environment and isn't in the way or visible. "Why no officer that's not a swirl tank in my cabin without any fire safety barrier, it's a water injection tank...ya, water injection tank.....what's that in the corner, my water injection tank, Doh!
I got my Nardi steering wheel today too, I trying to decide if I want to Mod it and make it a D wheel or just leave as it is.
See you guys at the Corky BBQ.
Peace

Spyder dropped off his new TIG welder so I could properly finished welding my front end. I finished spot welding today and started resealing. Need to do the under body now since I burn through the undercoat where ever I welded. The welds weren't all that pretty since I was welding over all the welding done previously with the 110 MIG. I did it to get better penetration into the sheet metal. Sanding, sealing and paint prep tomorrow and the first layer will be put on later this week! Yeeesss, sweeet.

Didn't quite get as much done as I wanted last week. Patients, patients it will get painted by the end of this month for sure.
resealed and undercoated the wheel wells and sanded the glaze on one side, will have apply some more in some regions.
Oh and I got my new base tool box, it's amazing how I stuff all my tools in that top box (and a tote) and once dispersed in all three boxes I'm already out of room, haha.

In order to properly clean and reseal the underbody I had to take the suspension out. So I will be pressing in my delrin suspension kit on early.
I had a few friends help me on the body work today. It amazing how much quicker body work gets done when someone else is doing it, hehe.

Alright, started seperating the suspension for new bushings and bearings. And not a moment too soon on the wheel bearings, sheesh.
It's interesting how much kingpin angle and built in caster is in the front uprights. While I put the suspension back on I need to measure how much camber gain and bump steer is built into the suspension....hmmmm.

Hey had some of your "Sterling" engineers in here today. Giving us some love about the reburner system and where it mounts. Gee this is going to be fun.
BTW I don't see anything wrong with the wheel bearings-Apex would drive those for at least another 10 thou

ATDs are going to be the Bane of your existence pretty soon. We're still working on reducing the exhaust outlet temps and ensuring reliability.
Ya, well I'm not Apex and I have time and money, specifically time to do it right. Hehe
Was taking the rear suspension apart last night, still have more to remove tonight.
Since the shock are out I going to have them freshened up. Thanls Spyder for letting me use a set of your stock shocks, I really appreciate it.
Peace

He already took the car to Rob so he could look at it, now he just has to remove the engine and dropping it off to Pineapple.
So Dave is going to get the Lotus. Lucky guy, especially for having a wife who would let him buy such an impractical car. Getting in and out of that car is going to get old real quick during the winter with the roof in place.

Okay, I have all the suspension all taken apart except for one driveshaft who has a wild **** hair up it's butt and doesn't want to come out.
So I'm getting a puller to remove it tomorrow. Some pics of broken or worn out stuff on the car that I need to fix (if I can) or replace.
See you guys at the meet, if you need FD stuff come because I'm gonna have a lot of stuff for sale.

Finally got to cleaning the suspension and getting them ready for the bushings.
Yesterday I won the first race of the Sykart indoor racing league, heavy class! I will post onboard video of next weeks races. Good stuff.

200 lbs is the minimum to enter the heavy class, then you have to add weight to the cart to get weigth up to the minimum 220 lbs. John didn't show, I wish he had I would of had someone to compete against up front in the main. I was so far ahead that I was watching the race for 2-4 most of the time. And needed only two more laps to the race to catch up the guy who was last.
This will change for every following race since the starting order will be a direct flip from previous weeks finishing order. I will start last next time and have to work my way up to the front. It's so much fun.

Got all the Delrin suspension bushings pressed in except for the trailing link bushings. Trying to decide whether to retain the RE trailing arms I have or put the stock units in. I had to machine a custom press tool for remove and install some pieces. Good stuff.
I opted to not put zerks on because it would have provided negligible gains in maintenance. I will have to remove all the suspension at least once a year to check wear anyways. Another reason is only two or maybe three piece I could actually do it on; all others would have had clearance issues.
It will be interesting to see the pros and cons of this setup both at the track and public roads.
