I never seen any FDs around in Portland/Vancouver area besides a couple guys in RPNW (Matt's silver and Nam's VR).

so who else is around?

 

Marc has one, but it's in less than driving condition, Son has one but it's only partially together, Randall [of RPNW] has one with no engine.... And that's all the Portland ones I know of ^_^'..

 

I know of at least 5 FDs that are running around in Eugene.

drive mine all the time, as a matter of fact going to pir this saturday night with it.

but most people on here buy one, blow it up and spend a few years building it or give up and you see it on craigslist.

Interesting, what is going on there? As you can see i am From Ohio, at the moment im staying in oregon. Yesterday i called some race track, i think it was called woodburn? I was wondering if they have any events coming up ect. Im having East coast drag strip withdrawls lol.

 

oh cool, yeah PIR has late night drags Friday and Saturday nights, 8 to watch 27 to race plus your 10 dollar year membership. It starts at 6pm and goes until 10pm.

I have heard Woodburn is a better drag strip, but I have never been since pir is right next to me.

I see a few very now and again. Mostly in the summer months.
Don't think they are on here. More 8's than anything.

 

I see a Very Cute girl in a white Rx8. Ive seen her a couple times in the last week around 99w and sw Roalty pkwy intersection area.

 

I see one every day but thats just my brothers dead one by the garage later or sooner he's going to do a LS swap in it.

well im fairly new to the forum but brought my fd back from the dead and just started driving it the past few weeks to work. 93 touring, no sunroof, blue ish green ish color (not sure what the color is called but its great). has a baby ls swap 5.3 gen 3 l33,99camaro 6 speed, hinson kit, stock suspension for now sit on work vs ss (looking for somthing else/ for sale trade).

 

guy i work with just told me a ls swapped fd was at PIR late night drags. i guess he had an issue with his rear diff at the end of the night. Fearnopiston was that you? hope it wasnt serious.

 

haha yup that was me, snapped both axles at once the weekend before. Went back last friday and broke my driveline u joints and destroyed the diff..... I am going 8.8 this winter.

Back on the road!! I never really see any fd's either. saw fearnopistons once while i was in the mr2 and matt's silver fd once as I found out they live 3 blocks from me. Feel free to follow/flag me down if you see mine out and about. usually in the vancouver area as thats where I live and work.

 

The FD barely makes it out of the garage anymore. When it does, I wouldn't be driving it in town thats for sure.
