I'm cruisin around Bremerton on the freeway and I catch myself watching how others drive. I've come into a few close calls but never an accident. Anyways most people tend to drive with TWO hands ...at 10 and 2 o'clock. Weird! Maybe its just me but I feel very comfortable with my left arm resting on my window ledge steering at 9 o'clock and my other hand on or near my shifter, ready to downshift at any second. Other than that, everyone talks on their cell phone (so do I sometimes :S) and not the hands free type.
Any other observations or habits anyone else has or seen???

left hand always on the wheel and right always on the shifter unless I'm in 5th and just cruising, then the left is usually hanging out the window. Never talk on my cell unless it's something insanely important since I don't want to derive my attention from the road. I'm pretty strict about that one.
lets see ussually right arm on the console incase i need to grab a gear or something , and left hand resting on my knee holding the wheel at about the 9 oclock position, but then i have to move my leg to get to the clutch if i need it tho... but its comfortable for me.
cant use a cell fone cars to loud! bAAAAAAAAAA

While crusing... my left arm just kinda rested on the wheel at the bottom doing the little things to keep me straight on our uneven road. The right hand is usually at 2 o'clock waiting for the turning.
