At the last event it was very obvious who didn't have a LSD. Spare yourself the humiliation and don't try it till you get a LSD.

I have Tokico HP's with RB springs on all corners. I all so installed a 84' VW Rabbit R&P steering. 3inch Sparco cam harness's and Sparco Harness bar and a one off tow point on the front. Will be going for the Ground-Control front coils and the rear springs with the dead coils to adust my ride height. Flares and 1 pc rear spoiler are on the shelf, just waiting for the side skirts to complete the outside.

Sorry forgot to answer your question, the requirements are a car that is not going to fall apart(Tech inspection) and a helmet as well as lot's of tires.....I used up 4 tires this last Friday alone.

You used four sets wow! I can't even find one set of good tires for mine (thanks mazda for the 13's). I am trying to make my FB track worthy I have a I/O port roll bar, sparco sprint seats and five point harnesses, got a 82 lsd/discbrake that Im waiting for some time off of work to install it. If I get my lsd and clutch in by sept I will deffinetly enter, if not I will come watch and cheer for you.

That was 4 tires not 4 sets....sorry, I run 15 and 14 inch wheels(LE). I have the Sparco sprint as well in my 82gsl, I also use a FC oil cooler and a short 3 row rad, battery was moved behind the passenger seat, short shifter installed, FC ignition coil, RB header/exhaust. I might have my hood pins installed by event time, the pins will keep the hood open 1.5 inches to vent the engine compartment.....Rex's are always hot. Good luck on the LSD install.....I have the entire Energy suspension bushing set for the rear if you need to replace anything.....one this is that I have heard that they do cause some binding.

I was out there with slammed on friday and I killed 10 tires a few of them were used. I think to drift at drift fest a good helmut is all that is needed and a car in good mechanical condition ie no loose wheel bearings balljoints tie rod ect.
