Drift course suggestion
Hey Zane, I know you are busy with the prep for drift fest on Friday and Sat but I would like to submit a suggestion to the layout based on last events feedback from the drivers. I spent a hour walking the track yesterday and saw some real possiblities for a course layout. No need for a skidpad, with that gone you can use the whole figure 8 area and present a better show to the crowd on Saturday as well as give both the noob's and the experienced drivers a layout that is fun and challenging. It starts fast but the speed is bled of in the first drift and continues to slow as you reach the bottom of the 8. A real danger at the last event was the blind entry onto the main track at the begining, I had a car pass me and I passed another due to not having line of sight of the path we are entering. Having a barrier or cones separating the hot from the cold at the begining of the grid with flagger's guiding traffic will keep everybody happy and the waiting drivers can watch the progress of the current driver on course, last time we saw nothing.....we like to watch too. Thanks for your hard work and your willingness to receive feedback and suggestions in making this a Destination Event for future Drift Events attracting others outside of our Region, I'm looking forward to Friday and Saturday.
Best regards
Lloyd

Was it a fourm member who backed a white second gen into the wall on the main straight at the last event. That car literaly hit right where I was standing, I had to dodge exploding taillight, too bad that car was pretty clean.
