Really? I got there at 1:30-2. And still managed 3 runs. I did not see your car. What time did you leave? What did you do in the 1/4?

IMO you missed some good racing. Too bad there was not another turbo 7 to race against...

Aaron, I wish that you would have told me sooner. I had a spare set of drag radials that I didn't even use. I would have loaned them to you for the day. Especially to see the turbo FB head to head battle.

Chris/Michelle, thanks for the invite on this one. I had a hoot.

We got there about 9:15 and got in 8 runs. The wagon did a 13.96. There were 5 volvos out there and 1 rx-7.

Have some great video that I may eventually get around to posting up.

It was pretty fun and lots of cool cars as always.

I got there about 10:30, unloaded, and went to the left side of the staging lanes where the 'tech' should be.... sat there until 12:15 when I finally got teched in( i guess they finally told the tech guy he should be where the sign is)... got my 1st run about 12:30. came around parked & took a moment to eat a couple cookies & grab a drink. got back in line and waited until 4:00 to get another run(oil down, wreck). went right back around to hope to get another run, was 4 cars from the line when they turned us away @ 5pm.

car ran ~12.20's @ 113mph.

lesson... line up in the 'slicks lane' and get screwed by people cutting in about 40 cars up.

i was out there Saturday, i saw 3 rx7's 2 with v-8's and another one i just saw roll up dont think he raced it though, it was red , with a big FMIC , and also has the base spoiler on it. think it had like black 18's on it. i dont know if you guys saw me or not, i was out there in my yellow civic hatch, with red rota's. wish i would have been able to take the 7 out, but that is still being built... but i only got 2 runs in as well. and i got there at like 10:00am i was pretty pissed. would have rather saved the money and sat in my car in my driveway..

I went out on Sunday and had a great time. Only made 4 passes in 6 hours, but from what I hear that's the norm for that track. Lined up with an rx7 on my last pass, I cut a decent light, but he blew by me on the big end of the track. Talked with him afterward, nice guy and he mentioned this site so I thought I would stop by here and say hi.

^Miata? I think that was me. Your car was my favorite car of the day.

1seven, nice time. Wish I would have caught up with you. I also had a set of drag radials that I wish I would have put on. I might have gotten more passes.

Hey JayL - we were in the Volvo. Your Miata is pretty cool. That's quite a turbo.

Here are some of my photos. I'm working on getting some video up on youtube. It takes a while to load, so will post links as they go up. David I only have video of the 7, sorry you'll have to wait a bit.

the white V8 FC (chevy 350 crate engine, turbo 350) was stripped down to be a race car, they told me it ran 11.0 but they didn't have the new carb jetted right, so it was running slower than it should.

Grae, all, here is the video. I didn't do any editing. Chris ran a 13.96 in the wagon, but it's now down and out and probably getting a manual swap.

I'll be loading up David's video tonight.

Michelle that turbo volvo video is pure bad ***! Nice burn outs! I had to replay that 4 or 5 times. hahaha

Chance, I ran a 13.1 @ 115mph ******* it out of the hole. If I could get traction I think the car would run well into the 12's.

Jay, hope to run into you again sometime. Maybe when you are done with that build of yours.

nice work Dave! I can only imagine how hard it is to get a car that is that light to hook. With that trap you should be able to achieve low 12's, my first run I did a 13.1 and trapped 114 mph.

I went a couple weeks and go and got about 4 runs in with my best being a 12.8@110 with a 1.9 60ft. figured that was the best I am gonna do with cheap federal all season tires lol, hopefully next year I will return with some slicks :P

Dave that sounds like my buddy's 68 Cougar. It was running faster with me in it cuz the extra 40lbs gave him better traction lol Maybe you should add my 40lbs next time?

Chance you made around 320whp, right? It is nice to know that there is still room to improve. I am not the best drag driver either. haha

Timmy, sadly they will not let you run under a 13.9 with a passenger. If they would I would use your 40lbs. You are really that heavy?
