You wave to another Rx owner and they dont acknowledge you? Mostly girl drivers. Although Rx8 owners are the worst. Have they heard of a thing called roots??

Btw anywone else in the Anacortes/Mt. Vernon/Bellingham area wanna do a drive sometime?? Really hard to meet up at the Olympia Izzy meets bein 100 miles away and all.....:S

But yeah waving at other 7's and not getting the wave back is frustrating as hell, since you get a wave about 98% of the time. The only other community I have seen that is like that is the Jeep community. My best friend owns a Wrangler and is constanly waved at or waves, just like when I'm in my 7. It's pretty cool.

 

The older guys are always the nicest. I once came to a stop next to a rx8, i looked over and said "nice car", and he smiled, gave me a thumbs up and said "you too".

I never get 8 owners to acknowledge me so I quit acknowledging them...

 

yea there are a few kids that go to MHCC in gresham that have FD's that only wave at other "high end, expensive" cars...STI's evo's other shiny cars....

 

I don't know what it is with people in WA, but most 7 & 8 owners I see are obviously not enthusiasts cuz I rarely get waves in my FD from anyone... Get more attention from ricers...

 

I've only had the opportunity to wave at one RX-8 while in the FB, he gave me a thumbs-up. On the other hand, there was a dude in a white FD that wouldn't even look my way. I always get random props from old people, though. People who used to own one, or liked them or something.

 

i hate it when you wave to anybody and they give you the "stare...." I also hate it when its another rx-7 guy too, I think the problem is too many honda kids are switching over to drifters now....Dont get me wrong i like honda's, but theres the "attitude" that seems to come with the people driving them....thats when you say....***....

 

I wave at all my rotary brothers and sisters. too bad I get weird looks back

 

I only wave back if someone is waving to me other wise if we just look at each other I just give them a nod. Someone might decide to shoot the next time you wave, who knows.......Be carefull

 

I would love to do a drive once my engine is rebuilt. Unless I get to borrow the t2 from my dad for a bit in the spring/summer.

 

I'm from bham, I do alot of drives. Pretty much any day that its nice out i'll go on a drive lol. The roads have to be dry though. Hit me up sometime, i'm always up for someone to tag along.

hey guys in anacortes i live in oak harbor and i went on the toys for tots run its was a total of 240 mi but i did aswell as a stop to drift office. its all about how much you love your car. hey i am down with a deception pass meet for the bham a-town and whidbey cews. i dont really care who showes up. hey blazer what car do you drive i am in atown quite a bit and i dont see to many fc's?????. if you ever see a black s4 with out ftp's its most likly me

hey, RXzeben, i resent that FD comment, even if its targeted to a certain location, haha. i wave to all gen's and models that have a rotor under the hood. but it seems like only the older people seem to wave back or say "nice car." nothing against rx8 owners, but they all give me a dirty *** look if i flash the highbeams or pull up and wave. i'm not tryin to race you, i'm tryin to hit on u....uh i mean say hi to you. and the whole "associate with higher end cars" i dunno bout ya'll but i've had the WORST EXPERIENCES POSSIBLE with EVO owners specifically. their all dicks. but i gotta admit, it is entertaining to see them try and look cool when its dry out and destroy their trannys.

 

on the street at least, the FB owners seem to be the nicest when i wave.

 

haha yeah EVO owners are losers, same with SRT-4 guys. They talk all the **** in the world... I know an EVO owner who tried to show off on the freeway next to my Taurus so I punched it and pulled in front of him!! Then he says oh my clutch is bad... But he had a new "racing" clutch... And keeps talkin about how he'll beat my FD... Yeah right, can't even pull on my Taurus and my FD walks my Taurus from a 60mph roll in ANY gear...
