A little Epiphany... The only reason why there are no rotary cars around anymore is because of the local shops. Simple fact, if they were good at their job there would be cars on the road. Considering you can still purchase a brand new motor from Mazda for less than $5000 but pineapple racing charges $5000 for a used motor that only has new housing’s, should be proof alone.

The local community killed itself and tried to blame Joe Maddox for calling out the shops and the groups that were allowing and participating in it.

What Mr. Spammer forgets is you're paying for the labor to rebuild an engine, and likely a custom (ported, oil mods, etc.) one at that. Also, only STOCK 13B-REW blocks are available for purchase (to my knowledge).

 

Are you stupid? You realize that Mazda rebuilds the motor when you buy a new one from them. So you for less money you can have Mazda labor the build and warranty it. Pineapples warranty is "**** you, you broke it, we do not install anything, everyone broke it installing it, no refunds". I prefer Mazda's.

The porting is the only reason you would have them reseal it, but trusting Rob not to swap the irons out is a risk. He swaps parts, him and Marc steal from everyone. That is why its a parts store you order templates and bearing tools from and thats it. That is why they are not on here.

Yes, only FD motors are available now. You will have to get scammed by the shops to get one of the (about to crack and "need coolant seals") irons they provide for the cost of new. Oil pans, mounting brackets and a couple pig tails are nothing for a rotary owner now, and a much better option that the tired old irons and potential scam that the shops are.

Rob and Marc are ******* projectionists lol. Enjoy pretending them smashing the tip of a piece of metal and increasing oil pressure is worth their insane price hikes and scams. There is a reason why Rob uses Marc and Marc lives and works their **** through his father/older brothers house in canby. He scammed and lost Daniel (from pineapple), his original engine builder and shop and I moved him home to daddys. He scammed himself and stripped his own car for the insurance money to get the shop that is there now. If you are new, good luck with these people, if you are not, you are assisting them and are in on it or are aware and indifferent because you need something.
