Just curious if they make transparent rx7 badges so i can put some fiber optic lines going to it so i can make them Glow or change color .. Just think it would look super cool with glowing decals

 

my on my dads old rx-7 he replaced the blank piece inbetween the tail lights 81-85, he made a red plexi glass lense with RX-7 in black on it that lighted up.

maybe u could modify that 3rd brake light in the middle into something that says rx-7 or what not

 

There is a guy currently in the first gen section making center tail sections. They are currently in production but they have a glowing rx7 in it. I always butcher the guys SN...airktak or however it goes.

He might be willing to make them for the 2nd gens as well. He does all sorts of laser cutting for our 7's.

 

Sure it's a little ricey, but I think it'd be sorta cool to do that fiber optic thingy on my 10th AE badges. lol

Okay, ricer moment is gone, I don't think I'll ever do that. Still sounds neat though.

 

Its not hard to change the 3rd middle tail light. There was some thread on the rx8 website that had a pattern for it. I just photoshopped the 8 into a 7. because of where the light is placed, the R doesn't light up that great, but it still looks cool at night.

 

I remember back in the day when Pacific was still selling aftermarket parts for the 7 they had ones for SA's. The did not light up but they had clever little sayings. My favorite was "rich bitch"...hahaha
