Cold Start/Engine Flooding.
Cold Start/Engine Flooding.
does anyone have the link for the Engine flooding problem? i started my car up in december. and didnt let it warm up = ( and then i think my engine flooded. i could never figure out what to do. and people told me about the link i couldnt find it. and also which fuse is the EGI Fuse my box doesnt have a cover so i dont know which fuse is which thanks.
IF it is an FC 86-91 2nd gen rx7.
pull out the lower plugs, then pull the two fuses near the shock tower that are closest to the engine it self, ones a 30 amp ones a 40 amp.( or should be...)
then crank it over with plugs out and gas floored for 10 seconds. this should shoot out the extra gas thats in the chambers...
Then make sure plugs are dry and decent, if thers crapy lookin id sugest new plugs BUR7EQ for leading. put them in, put egi fuses back in. and it should start.
u might have to try trhis a couple times, so make sure battery is fully charged!
