Car Is BACK!

My car is finally back! When i arrived they had some problems with idle. Due to the fact that more air was being sucked in, the safc had to be changed 10% rich on low. Then my car was idleing like it should have been. Luckily I found that out. Anyways other than the fact that I need tuning my car is faster, of course. Though I'm currently having a problem with idle again. I've been noticing before that my HKS SSQ BOV's spring is bad. The material around the little purple nipple is coming undone. It's creating a vac leak which sucks. I might have to buy a new one. Funny thing was when i took it for a test drive the BOV wouldnt sound off at all. I figured they connected the wrong vac. I asked kelly about it and he said my bov was bad. Later on my friend and I found out that they put the vac for the bov on a non vac place. What i mean by that is the line wasnt sucking in or letting out air.
So other than that leak and tuning my car is fine. Wait, actually i also found that a little oil has been dripping from my bottom turbo oil line. I'll need to tighten that tomorrow.

Good and bad that you got your car back. Hopefully it might be somewhat worth it once it is tuned right. Glad to hear you got it back. Sorry about the friggin' hassle you had to get it back.

Ya, im curious how the V mount turned out, it looked pretty good on the partialy done picks, but i was having a hard time visualizing how sufficient air would flow through the IC. I guess ill probably end up having to see it in person sometime.

Wally meant to ask you at Izzy's where you got your throttle body elbow adapter from. Did you buy it seperately? or did it come in the fmic kit. Thanks

Sorry just wanted to know the price for the adapter, as I will be looking for one very soon. Did you buy it online, or from the shop that did your car. Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks.

BTW anyone who an elbow adapter taking up space, have cash waiting for it.
thanks

Nice, i like that, With the IC positioned how it is, doesit still get enough flow through it without the hoodbeing cut? Can you boost it prettygood and still have the outlet pipe cold? Looks good though.

Yea, the hood needs to be cut. Though i am boosting fine and the ic piping stays pretty cool. My BOV is mostly likely the culpurate. I've been hitting 12psi, but then it drops instatly to 6psi.
