So did you respond to the other 999 stupid threads that were reposts, or did you just decide to post under this one to pick on a newbie? If you don't like re-posts or stupid threads, just don't open them. And SRT, don't let this discourage you from posting or being here. It's a "newbie" thing with some on here. Don't take it too personally.

When I was new on the forum I used the search function hundreds of times, and generally came up with nothing of any help, so I posted my questions here. Although a lot of people chimed in with thier flaming responses, I also got a lot of the information I needed.
I agree that the search function can be very useful, but sometimes it just doesn't cut it. For every thread that answers the question, there's about a hundred that don't. If any of you don't wish to share any knowledge that you have, I would ask that you simply do not post. I don't see any point in degrading someone who is on a search for knowledge.
There are no stupid questions, only STUPID replies.
In short, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.
