Well I would be skeptical of a $14k FD with a rebuilt motor if it's at a dealer... Most $14k FD's I see have 100k miles on the engine and chassis!! Be sure that if you decide to buy it that you see all the paperwork first. NEVER trust a car salesman.. If you do this they'll do this when you walk away cuz you just got WORKED.... What dealer in Everett? I'll tell you if it's a shitty car or not just by the dealer... Is it just north of Mukilteo Speedway on HWY99 on the east side of the street??? Just a small little dealer??? If so I would say DON'T buy it! And if you are looking for payments go to your bank and inquire about car loans. Interest rates should be a lot lower. Hell I saved 8% by going thru my bank for my old car. Dealer wanted 14% interested and I got a 6% interest rate thru my bank. It's always better NOT to finance thru the dealer, IMO. That would leave you the possibility of buying ANY FD out there. It wouldn't have to be from a dealer. Bank gives you a cashier's check for the full amount of the car and you pay payments to the bank... Give it a try! Good luck.
