Broke my third engine mount. Hmm what now?

So today i broke my engine mount (agian). Drivers side of course. However i think it might have really broke earlier and didn't notice. Because for awhile when i give it gas it likes to buck a bit and its not sharp on the throttle....
Well today i gave it a bit more gas than normal and then came to a light and the whole car was vibrating. So i was going DAMN what the hell now..
(((Can Heat make the rubber more weak over time)))?

So i drive it home slow.. get her in the air. takes a bit to find the problem. And there it was the Engine tourqued Up and over and was hanging half off the engine mount.
Had to get a long bar to Get the metal round thing to sit around the rubber agian. and not on it.

So Do they make some good engine mounts that don't break? This one was only like a year old. What gives.
Anyone else eat threw engine mounts like this? I would hate to see how many the race car drivers go through....

The good : Plastic tie downs i had (handcuff police size) around the aframe for now. So i can drive her. And should make the taco 7 meet if nothing else breaks.
The bad: Scared to give it gas.

When I went through my period of breaking them, after two, I discovered that my transmission mount was broken too. I think all 3 mounts work together and that was the cause. After I replaced that, I had no more problems.

Yeah the **** thing is if one goes bad the others will wear rapidly. Inspect all your mounts and if you're going to replace them do them all at once and if you can, use poly bushings. It will help you better avoid this problem in the future
