I remember when I worked for Ron Tonkin and my sales manager told me to offer a black customer less for his trade in "because black people don't take good care of their cars" I quit after that. Won't ever step foot on one of his lots.

Thats the Manager, don't blame the dealership for one of its workers stupidity.

Why would you quit after that? You must quit a lot... probably after every time your boss doesnt smile at you. A lot of people are racist and you just have to deal with it. From my expierence black people are lot more racist than white people. White people just dont make a huge deal out of every little thing because we just dont care.

 

No In fact I have been in my current job for 18 years. I quit that job in 1985. I was a kid and never had been exposed to someting like that. There were a lot of other things I had seen there and I just didn't feel like selling my soul to make some money.

I work at Doug's Mazda and I am about to quit too. Of course half of our staff has been ready to quit for the last 6 months so who knows.
