Some of you may remember the FD I was working on that came to me not running... Well Im happy to report the I fired it up today after a long time in treatment it is well on its way to recovery...

It is now running an AlienAuto manifold, 3" exhaust, and front mount IC. Also a Koyo radiator, slimline fans, duel tial 38mm wastegates, ITS t66 turbo and my favorite part is its running on an Autronic SM4 engine management system. I converted the ignition system to a true four coil system using an AEM c2di instead of running a waste spark system. Even running very rich with mix gas the car started cold without fouling the plugs, even after not running for six months!

I will be tuning for the next few days and will report back on how it goes.

I think that the izzy's meet is a little to far for someone located in Richland

 

Back to the dead! The bran new turbo failed after about six hours of the car running... I will wait to see if they take care of it before I name them... Anyway the Autronic is working great and I will be putting one on my car soon, I can't say enough about how powerful this system is...
