I am thinking about it. In fact, I talked to my son about it this morning. He is 17 and I thought it would be fun for me to take the RX-7 and him to take the Mazda3 S Sedan. We both would learn a lot.

Brent was really great. I would completely screw up and he would find something positive to say.

 

Great Autocross Practice Day, the weather was great and it was a nice turn out. I did make it tru all 4 pass, with out hitting a cone. So now a guest I need to work on getting faster. I figure, I need to control my acceleration and breaking and some how work some thing out with the gears. Sense from what I notice, most of the other cars, go to second and leave it there for the rest of the curse, but sense the Rx8, has no power in the lower RPM, I did find my self on first gear at 9,000RPM most of the time. it was fun, fun, fun!!! I can't wait for the novice class on March 2 At 7:00am.

See you all on Sunday Feb. 24 for kristopher drive and after that on the novices class!!!

Anibal, next event you come to, look for David DeRegt in a silver Rx-8. He's really fast and can talk to you about keeping it in the right power range. He's not going to make it out as an instructor at the school, but I'm sure he'd ride along with you at an event.
