Ok everyone this is the final list I am going to plan for. We will plan for 2 people per vehicle so about 120 people. It looks like we are going to have a good turn out and I am really excited. Standard BBQ food Hamburgers hotdogs and potato salad, potato chips and other various foods. Hey guys This is just a new thread to handle the high volume of response and to set a scene for the Meet. For those who have not heard we will be having a greater Seattle meet.

Where: Dougs Lynnwood Mazda 22130 - Hwy 99 Edmonds WA, 98026
When: April 7th 11:00am
Who is invited: Anyone With a Rotary and anyone else who wants to attend!!

I have a list of people who are planning on attending and I will try and update it weekly until the event. Also as it gets closer I will try to add directions for those who are not familure with teh area.

I dont know all of the rotary web sites but if any wants to post this over they can feel free to post this on the other sites and I will incorporate their response into this list.

 

Directions from seattle: Head north on I-5, take exit 179 (220th st) Make a left turn and head west. Make a left turn on to Hwy-99 (5th light about 1 mile. Shucks will be on your left hand side). Half a block down on the right is Doug's Lynnwood Mazda.

My FD is supposed to be done Wednesday... hopefully I'll be able to make it!!

 

So.... i see that the event starts at 11am....and ive gathered that there will be BBQ and food.... But what else is going on for the day, and other tidbits of fun.... perhaps, weather allowing, some sort of a cruise afterward? what time are we projecting to be over? Thanks for humoring my dumb questions!

 

I will now be having a Turbo Miata rolling out there with me.

 

I think Chris was thinking we'd be finished with the BBQ around 2 or 3 and then afterwards a cruise would be fun, but currently there is nothing in the works as far as I know.

The meet will end around 3:00pm and I will not be able to attend any drive so I did not plan one. That is not to say that someone else may be planning one though. If a drive is in the works with one group or another they should share it so that others can have a chance to go with. See you all on Saturday!!

 

How bout it folks? anyone down for a lil cruise after the BARBEE...? I don't know WA very well, (recent transplant) so i cant suggest a run myself........ but are there any good and dry winding roads or canyons that we could have a bit of fun on?

 

Canyons? Not near where we'll be. Windy roads are a possibility, but dry? That's another story. It's WA so it's hit and miss. Close to Lynnwood I don't know if there are really any good twisty cruise spots...

 

You people better not forget to bring the stripper for my Bday present!
