Duct your koyo radiator better. The stock waterpump is perfectly fine.

+100. I ran a full lap around PARC without my fan on and it didn't start to over heat til i got back into the staging area. A wire became disconnected and i didn't see it until steam started rolling out from under the hood lol. Sheet metal diverters FTW. It was the best $10 I've spent at Lowes yet.

Small flat pieces of sheet metal and garage door sealing foam strips is all you need. Then go to work and patch every hole you can see. I personally isolated about 80% of my koyo and intercooler (v-mount) and it works great.

With that being said, make sure that ... black plastic undertray thing is on there or else all the air will just go under the radiator. I have seen a LOT of people complaining about overheating problems and don't have one on. It makes a HUGE difference.

I did that but i just left the metal alone since it was galvanized. It looked sick and worked extremely well. Ducting makes all the difference in the world as far as keeping a consistent temperature.
