I'll be there and so will Ninja. Gates open at 11am and drifting begins at 12. "pit passes" are $10 and "ride along" passes are a additional $5 dollars well worth it. $15 bucks and you can ride with any driver plus TougeNW supplies the helmets for free and PARC sells the head socks if you want them but i don't know how much those are.

I wish everyone could go. the more people come the bigger it gets and it just opens more and more doors for drifters in Oregon.

Wish I could make it. I'm in the process of an engine swap. But I plan on making a couple hoodoo events. Is that still the only way to get an invite to park??

yes, for now it is. although there is a course in Salem that will be tested soon and they might qualify people there but that's not 100% for sure yet.

yeah, i did install a bump stop for the diff, it lets the diff move about a inch, maybe a little less so it wasn't a HUGE deal when the diff mount broke yet again lol. Wa. has lots of stuff in the summer, hopefully i'll be able to pull off a couple trips up there too.

yeah well i didn't get the one from Bob soon enough so i welded a small cage around the rubber on my broken mount, i figured it'd hold atleast for a little while. but no, 2nd run and she was toast, although i don't know what exactly i broke yet. i'm just assuming my small cage idea failed. we'll see tomorrow for sure. it didn't help that my handbrake failed on me either. stupid handbrake

What are you running rear bushing wise? I assume you are breaking front diff mounts? Are you using a competition front mount? Your pinion snubber should be preloaded pushing down on the front of the diff when it is at rest. You want 0 front diff movement.

P.S. Nice pics in the drifting section. Looks like you did great even with the busted parts.

all stock bushings minus the DTSS Eliminators. I'm currently talking to MazdaSpeed about their development program and the discounts they offer so when that goes through or fails is when i'll put better stuff in probably.

i didn't have a choice about the 1" gap between the snubber and the diff, it came up short and i would have needed to spend more time then i had at that time to bring it down. having something there was better then nothing and it was free so i'm not too upset about it lol.

thanks, i'm waiting to post some in here but they tell me the video is almost done so i'll wait for that too.

lol, yeah it was really freaking loud and actually come to find out it rattled the axle nuts and the drive shaft bolts loose. i literally took them all out with my fingers minus one nut on each axle but the drive shaft bolts were all loose. that's freaking scary.

again, waiting on the MazdaSpeed thing, but i'm working on it

Solid diff and subframe mounts can be bought off ebay for $35 each. (weirdly they are identical pieces)

Currently mazdaspeed is out of competition front diff mounts, I tried. Just grab it through mazdatrix, it's only a little bit more $. If you go solid though you will need to get individual camber adjusters as you sub-frame will not be able to move with a center adjust camber bar/link. I recommend AWR stuff as it takes MMR-direct ages for him to actually ship a product.

it's hard to spend money on stuff like that because i work in a metal fab shop and could make it for sooo dirt cheap but my boss is jerk so if i ever do something like make mounts i'll catch hell for it lol. we literally have everything there to make whatever i want, i think God is punishing me lol.

yeah, personally i'd never buy from MMR anyway, every camber adjuster from them i've seen has broken. i don't think their using Grade 8 hardware and it really shows.
