Anyone ever rebuilt the 13b-rew themselves before?

So I am picking up my Atkins rebuild kit this weekend....gonna finish pulling and disassembling the motor perephials and such as well hopefully. I was wondering if anyone here has rebuilt their own motor and would be interested in helping me once I get ready to open her up. I would really just feel more comfortable having someone around that has the experience.

Free beer and pizza of course while we're working. If you prefer asian food I'm sure my Japanese wife would be willing to whip something up!

My plan is to tear it apart...clean inspect and possibly port the housings a little.

Not sure of the time line to actually tear into it, but LMK if there is any interest. I live in Graham just south of Puyallup.

I really want my imported baby back on the road come spring!

Oh I forgot to mention that I am going single turbo so if the person/people helping need any stock parts coming off then I'm sure I could hook you up.

I've rebuilt plenty of engines in my day, you can always
shoot me a call if you get lost. a REW is just like any other
rotary for the most part. I think I have some video's floating
around, but I'm in transit and they're most deff hidden in a
box somewhere.

Wow thanks for the support guys. Keoki and Nytrate for sure I'll hit you guys up. I think I am going to have Jesus rebuild it since he is going to port it at the same time, but I still have to do the single swap and reinstall.

Anyone know a good tuner for PFC in the washington/oregon area.
