anyone with a e6k

i just got an e6k from a friend in exchange of some engine work i would like to test it first in somebody car before i go ahead with my project can any one help.thanks

umm alls ya gotta do is hook up pwr n gnd. then hook up the laptop, if you got communication then your over a big hurdle.
