What's wrong with your current "intake", and what exactly do you mean by "intake"?

If you're looking for an upgrade, there is no company that makes a specific bolt-in cold-air intake (CAI) or cone-filter modification with a 'cold air box'... Basically your best bet is to purchase an intake kit off of ebay for a 2nd. gen. Prelude (94-97?) and then cut/modify the piping, AND cut a 3.5" hole under your current airbox to route this piping down into... Basically just create your own intake using a piece of pipe and a cone-filter that's installed behind your passenger-side brake-duct, or right in front of your tire.

If you need help with this, do a SEARCH in the 2nd. generation technical section. Do not create a new thread, because your question has been covered thousands of times. Do a search for "CAI" "Prelude intake" or something like that.

Just installing a cool looking cone-filter in your engine bay in front of your air-flow meter (AFM), and getting rid of your air-box will actually HURT your power because you will just be sucking in hot air from your engine bay. Don't be a ricer and do this--UNLESS you have a turbo RX-7 (which would see a benefit from a larger diameter pipe, even if the filter is in the engine bay, due to the lack of pre-turbo restriction out-weighing the warmer air factor).
