another autocross site bites the dust

WDOT is stealing the Deep River yard under eminent domain for a questionable highway project ( http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/SR4...posedroute.htm ) so this may be the LAST EVER autocross weekend at this site.
ALso last event of the NWAA sumer schedule, and last weekend before The "Oregon Shootout" invitational in Bend.
Come on down your all invited.

Thanx would have been a long drive anyway. how about you guys from PDX and vancouver? we run lots of sevens out this way, mostly first gens, but at least one gen 2 turbo and one 93 come out as well. Mega seat time for low entry fees.

Does this have anything to do with the propsed private superhighway which will run from Mexico to Canada with like one stop in Kansas? The words "eminent domain" and "questionable highway project" sound about right.

Well if they could get the illegales to bypass the us and go straight to Canada I'd be all for it (LOL) But seriously they are straightening out a curve and they want someplace close to dump the excess dirt.
