Ive got to say... a prius, a tiburon, and optima and scions? Good lord. We need to do an RX ONLY Mt St Helens cruise next year. This is exactly why I didn't go, I figured something like that would have happened, when "subcompact culture" was hosting this. A Prius should never be allowed... ever.

was still fun, no matter what car brands showed up, had a great time. Matt you need to chill, mazda is not the only car on the road, Ya I know you are brand loyal, but what a great bunch of cool peeps to meet, fully accepting to all brands and what a great bbq.

Brand loyalty has nothing to do with my statement. Most makes have a model I respect. The problem is going on a drive with the grocery getter econobox models of makes, and the people who think they are cool to be enthusiasts about said models. -There are always exceptions, (I always respect quality work) but I am speaking in generalities.
I'd like to think we hold ourselves to a higher standard than that. Hell, its why we are RX7club and not Mazda's NW. (no offense to them) Its the mechanical knowledge, and the get your hands dirty attitude of this club I love, and the fact that ricer types are kept to a minimum. I'm sure the people in subcompact culture are nice and all, but that's just not my style. Seems just like a bunch of newage honda people. Your mileage may vary.

I can't believe I just barely missed this, Dang. I had a guy at work tell me he saw a bunch of you guys Sunday. That's actually what lead me to join this club, looking to do something like this! Sounds like a lot of fun. I hope I can get in on the next one, its only gonna get nicer outside for a while.
