For all you wagon haters. Enjoy

Apparently people put LS-1's in Volvo, and then cram two turbos on top for good measure. I think I found my next project.

I agree it's impressive.. but those guys are stupid... "performed on enclosed road" they are full of ****. a blowout at those speeds and that could be a 2 ton brick thrown into oncoming traffic acrross that median.

FWIW - That wagon and video was shot in PA. Apparently they are notorious with law enforcement there.

I have to agree that it is very strange the R1 was topping out at 190 kph. I've seen over 170 mph in my 636. Something is staged in that clip.

Since I got the car I put had a motor put in and did reliability mods and have been problem free for 9k and counting daily drivin. 13brew and the chassis has 80 on it.

I didnt mean to start a rotary vs. piston thread or to offend anyone I merely saw an invitation to a wagon haters thread and jumped in.

HMMMM... my t-5 wagon had a motor put in too! at the factory... now its at 244k... and running 14's.... So i guess reliability is objective... LOL

And im not trying to continue a rotary vs piston debate.... I own both and love em dearly. But i think its safe to assume that- more often then not, a boosted wankel aint getting to 244k.

On to other topics.. wagon? ugly? i guess thats an objective argument as well. But i assume that some opinions are based on a feeling of shame, shame that they got handed their lunch by a family car... tim? am i right?
