Yes Steve the FD looked great, all the work you have put into since you first got it really shows. Also Matt and Jon's FDs looked very good, especially the black paint on Jon's car that looked fabulous. It was also great to see Brad's FC running. Also enjoyed seeing Allen and Bobbi's two FB's, the paint jobs are great, Deenas FB looked awesome and I am glad to hear the supercharger setup has come along quite a ways, can't wait to get a ride in it when its finally tuned right and really set up. Don's Turbo II was also cool to see even though its a secondary car for him and he couldn't bring his "real" turbo II, sorry you lost the motor on it but glad you made it home safe. Jose Reye's car also looked excellent, as well as Walt's has made some HUGE improvements to his white TII, can't wait to see it when he gets a little further along. There were a lot of other nice cars but I can't remember the people's names but there were definately a lot of cars there I would enjoy owning and showing off.

OK guess it is time for me to chime in. ABF was great...and especially for my first year. There were a ton of great people and great cars as well.
Just to clear up a few things for those who made it out to izzys and saw the vid or those just looking at the pics. I had a great night on Saturday. It was a few peoples' ideas(who shall remain nameless) to "initiate" me. I was posed with a problem do I drink and entertain or be a prude and save my reputation. So like a fool I decided to be the jester for the night and make the crowds laugh.

Well to say the least 2 glasses(hotel water glass) of 100 proof monarch(still got the bad taste in my mouth) vodka, 3 beers and 1/2 glass of 70 proof honey liquor later I was a little smashed. And oh did I mention that one of those nameless people played the water trick on me. That is ok...I was planning on entertaining.

I woke up the next morning and could not remember much of the night. However I do slightly remember waking up (while passed out on the floor) and seeing Wally blow chunks next to me with red vom*% all over the ground. So eventhough I do not remember I guess that someone else had fun including me.

And to all who decorated my car thanks...I appreciate you puting a rain cover over my rx. You know that I hate when it gets rained on. I would have stopped you but when you are in that state you can seem to be incapictated in movement. If only I could do more than just swear at you!

Hope all enjoyed my display of creative actions...ABF fans next year I will be the initiator!

any.. i have a 45DCOE though... Just wondering if any one has beat my number yet. Roomer is that pineapple built a carbed 13b that stock port put 170 to the wheels, but I haven't seen it. And as far as I know my engine holds the carbed stock port 13b record for whp @ 140....

The Red FB with the Unifilter is mine.. I have a 45DCOE Side with racing beat intake. Last year my numbers were 136.3 rwhp and 229 torque. This year same hp 136.3 and 114 torque..

for this year I changed the trumpets to smaller ones, took them off but back original trumpets...

My is a 12A Street Port...

you are putting out 140 rwhp on a stock motor???? with a 45DCOE? what exaust system do you have....Never mind 13B.....

I have racing beat headers, rb presilencer, prima flow muffler.... single not the street port...

It's not a "roomer"...just a fact. I even sandbagged the numbers a bit. Stock-port GSL-SE engine with ceramic seals and a 50 DCOE Weber carb. Totally custom exhaust. Can't tell you what it was in...that is top secret (racing engine and the team doesn't want the info to get out).

For what it's worth, 140 at the wheels is not even unusual, let alone a record. I did over 150 with an otherwise stock GTUs sporting only a Racing Beat downpipe/presilencer (stock exhaust manifold and cat-back) and a cone filter. I know you said "carbed", but that still doesn't make 140 notable because of all the guys with 48IDAs and full exhausts.

Adrian: did you ever install those heim-jointed lower links I sold you? If not, I know someone who may be interested in buying them off you (right here on the NW section of the forum, if he wants to speak up...).

they're not in only cause I couldn't get a drill bit to get in there. I still want them unless you entice me with a good offer. PM me about it. And 150 to the wheels is to be expected from a s4 or s5 engine. remember I'm running an s3. I still havent seen anyone run a carbed s3 stock port put down a higher number than me. I know 140 is crap, but I'm proud of it...

Well, that dyno chart is for a carb'd S3 13B GSL-SE engine with stock ports...the same as yours. You can keep saying you haven't seen it, but that doesn't change the facts. Anyway, I wasn't saying 140 to the wheels is anything to be ashamed of; it's just not that uncommon. On the other hand, you probably got more bang for your buck than most...the $$$ in that 183 rwhp engine is more than what most people would pay for a whole car, and the only reason it was not ported is because of the rules in the class in which they race.
