Talking 8th Annual Leavenworth Meet?

Well I have not seen anything up about it, so I thought maybe I put it on the table. Seeing as its been in May the last few years. Seeing as I missed last year, and I was only able to stop by for a short time two years ago because of work. Anyone interested?

What do I need to do just set a day, and tell all of you to show up at X at this time?

Only found 2 dyno tuners in my area, but they seem to only do Chevy v8 lt1/LS but can work with other program tuners also co-worker is experienced tuner and said he would help me out. Even loaned me a book for engine management tuning goes in depth.
Anyhows I can always switch back to rtek 1.7 and make it drivable to a rx7 meet , just runs stupid rich. Should have a safe tune with in a month

I'm interested. When are you thinking? Might want to get this out to the facebook groups to get more traction once you pick a date.

Hmm interesting. The weather for that day does not look great, but that could change by the time it actually approaches.

How many people from here would actually be interested in rolling up there with them? I'm sure its just a bunch of Mazda 3s. The rotary guys and the rest of the Mazda world tend to be very different personalities. If enough of the rotary guys are actually going to go, it would be interesting.

Id really prefer to get our own run going, but I'm not sure how much commitment we could get from folks to do something like that. Nevermind the fact that I myself no longer own a rotary and would be technically considered one of "them"

Looks like a rainy day so far. Things could change! You know how it is here.

If the weather turns around and I see enough commitment from others on here, I might be down. Snivley and I can be the temporarily rotary less rotorheads tagging along.

We'll I've got something going on on Saturday, so it wont work.

Still looks like rain anyway. As well as all of next week. Wonderful.

I don't think Thursdays would really work for anybody. People work. Sunday could work, but eliminates the option to stay overnight if you have to work the next day. Saturday would be best for most people IMHO.

Is anyone planning on staying overnight? It's been a long time since I been at Leavenworth, what are some of the attractions besides the gift shops?

Holy cow how time flys! I got a new job, and I am really sorry I dropped the ball on this. The carb turbo FB is not perfect yet, but its running much much better now. That what I have been up to... playing with new work, and voodoo carbs. I am still having problems on the secondary side... pop's lean. If I only use the primaries its like a 5'' supercharger 5lb-6lb of boost. Use able, but not done.

So its mid June how are we all feeling?

Optimistic, I'm feeling optimistic. Depending on the day, I would love to show up. I would be 7less though. I propose July 9th (Saturday) or July 10th (Sunday ) as the soonest. To short of notice for this weekend and next weekend is the 4th. PM me if you need help with anything.

The pool wanted to keep the weekends open this time of year. But we could alway go to Monitor? The Hot Rod Cafe has lots of parking, and some bomb food.
