Zack it's at Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho. North of CDA. It's not that great of a show. Annoying loud music played by annoying DJs, unappealing cars, and the only thing I enjoyed was the discounted admission to the park and hung out in the water. Based on these photos the quality of cars has gone down since I was there last, I believe 2 years ago, possibly 3. I spent the entire time in the park away form the show enjoying the rides and cool water

These pics were taken by a friend, there were many quality cars this year. By far the best we have had. Many were cars that have been featured in magazines and are national points leaders with the NCCA. If you actually came out then there might be a basis of talking trash about this years showing....
The show wasnt even an NCCA sanctioned event if the last time you were there if it was 2-3 years ago.

Looks like there was a lot of really terrible rice there. Poor RX-8.

Where's the love for appreciating somebody spending the time and money to make their car different from stock? Maybe you don't like rice, but it looks like the cars pictured had a little more than fart cans added.
I'm a function over form person, but i can appreciate the work that went into these cars. Beside, we don't get much going on over on the east side of the cascades and i applaud the fact that any car show goes on over here...
I did not go this year as I generally don't enjoy silverwood, but I think i might make the trip next year.

ewww, was that an 8? dinna recognize it, lol

I will have better pictures once I update the site gallery. Since I was running the event I really didnt have time to take pics myself. A shame I must say since there were plenty of cars I wish I had pics of right now. Reviews of the event from people that actually went were all great this year. I can post links if you would like....

Fact is there are very few events for the import community east of the cascades. Not everyone can afford to drop a ton of money into a car, make a car everyone will like or they just might be starting out. All these people have a place in the community because they enjoy cars. Fostering bad will toward people less fortunate or people with some different or dated style does nothing positive.
We just want to have a fun atmosphere were people of similar intrests can hang out, meet one another and maybe win some awards. After seeing #'s increase steadily for more then 7 years Im sure Im not the only one that feels this way.
