I'm at the end of my rope concerning my car. I bought a engine back in the late summer months after discovering that my previous one finally blew out its rear rotor. I dropped the engine in and got it running, but now the best it can do is limp arround. It can drive indefinately but it fights with me the whole way where you have to feather the gas in order to drive it properly at lower RPMs and of course it suffers massive power loss.

So i'm kinda stuck at this point, either I have to find someone who can repair it for me who knows what they are doing or just sell the car. (Even Jerry from his little car shop didn't have a strong idea even after I took it in for a diagnosis and I can scan that paperwork I think) So i'm looking for two things from you guys, either someone whom I can pay to fix my baby back up for me or an estamate on what I can get for it.

1987 Sport N/A

New engine from Atkins Rotary: Less then 100mi
Full racing beat road racing exhaust: Headders back (Two year old system)
Aluminum Flywheel (New with engine install)
Racing clutch (New with engine install)
Yokohama Y2k 420s (Very new car 'broke' two months after aquisition)

Well where do you live at, and did JLC shop do a complete comp test. What were the numbers, if you got good comp then you have somewhere to start.

Thast another weird thing. The timing keep sliding. We adjust it with the right markers and then after giving it a bit, it is back off again.

1 thing at a time mate, do not lose hope restab the CAS, if it doesnt work try another CAS, make sure you are getting fuelk at all injectors, check tps, try another ecu.

i would suggest finding someone with the same model/year and trading parts back adn forth until one shows up as the culprit i.e. Cas, ecu, ect.

id be over to help ya, if i didnt live in spokane now.
