WA 1st gen rear seat Q's

ok so here is my delema, i was at pick n pull a month ago, i found a silver fb with rear seats, i pulled it after a while, couldn't figure it out, but i got it. anyways, i didnt have a spare 3/4" wrench to pull the seat belts, so my Question is this.

What seat belts can i get for my backseat, also im not sure that my GSL-SE has the pre drilled holes in it, so im gonna look for that as well.

any help. Ideas. anything???

I'm also gonna post in the 1st gen section.

In 1986, being a single dad with children aged 7, 6 and 5, I traded my 4-door 626 for a one owner blue '82 GSL and a 12 passenger van. I went through a couple of vans before the kids grew up but still have the 82 RX7. During one of the vans many breakdowns, I bought a 2+2 rear seat from the dealership. It was burgundy vinyl and had seat belts. The end of the seat belt that attached to the body had an eyelet for a bolt. This bolted into existing bolt holes in the body that had been used for securing the storage bins, irrc.

No promises, but if I find the seat belts and get some pictures and post the pics here...

2nd Gen seats don't fit.

For your seat belts in the rear seat, there are no "pre-made" holes for the seat belts. You'll need to make them yourself with a drill, or by using one of the existing holes in the rear bin area. Its a custom job. I used a set of generic lap belts for my rear seat from the auto parts store.

dang man, that a lot to handle. LOL
anywho...

its not like i have the second gen seats, im not sure if i mentioned but i pulled a first gen rear seat, and on the downer car, i saw all the bolts that the seatbelts went to, im thinking about generic, maroon lap belts, i can get a set for 30bucks so that totals 60. i have 2 kids and my oldest boy loves riding with daddy, and if its gonna be the family's second car, im gonna need the seats, and some ac. LOL

so ya. ill post pics of my find soon.
i know that the bolting is mm equivalent to a 3/4" socket, but i didn't have a wrench to get the seat belt bolts out.

the next time im at my car, ill look for pre-drilled holes. there should be 3 in back, for the belts, 1 on each side for the back of the seat, and 1 on each side on the bottom for the main support.

Pics of right side belt attach points.

There are left lower, center and right lower.

The center has the female ends (two) which get the male end from the lower (left and right) straps.

Looking at them again, I'm not sure that the bolt holes were preexisting.

They may have been manually drilled.

The one with me pointing is not part of the seat belts.

I've got an '82 i'm parting out.
The car was fitted with rear seats and seat belts, i'm not with the car at the moment, otherwise i would be able to tell you wether the holes were manually drilled or pre existing.
You're welcome to come down and have a gander of what i have for sale.
I would sell you the rear seat belts but i really would like them to be sold with the seat.

If you want to see some photos of what i have, including photos of the seats, here's a link to photobucket---
