Im trying to buy a RB exhaust. I have an 83'. The person selling this says that this is an rb 1st gen Muffler came from a 84 gsl. I just wanted to ask you guys to make sure that it is.

 

Doesn't look like a Racing Beat muffler to me. The 1st gen RB muffler I have is round, not oval, and looks different in several other respects as well. Mine is the "long primary" type, but there is not that much difference to the regular "short primary" type.





Note: The connection just before the muffler is an added one on my system, so ignore that.

 

pinoyremix, that looks like it might be a Pacesetter/Monza. Blake's is a real Primaflow from RB. It has the slant tips. The later straight tips mufflers from RB are now called power pulse.

 

id say its pace setter as well it looks to be of the same build type

 

still looking for an RB exhaust..or just the muffler
