i dont think you could legally drive one on the road because it was JDM only so the gov never did any crash testing on it.... thats just what my understanding of it though....

There are actually a few that are street leagal. Not sure how they do it, but you CAN get them tagged here in the USA!

I want one of these SOOOOOOOOOOO bad, BUT if you think its hard to get parts for our cars imagine getting a new dash panel, or tail light, or such. RPITA

There are a couple of ways I know of that it can be done. First is to import the chassis and motor separately and register it as a kit car (this is what I've heard, I can't comment on the difficulty of doing it this way). Second is to be in the military and stationed in Japan; if you buy a car there they will let you bring it back and register it.

There is 0% chance that car is fully legal to drive. It's not hard to get a registered in WA, federally legal is a whole different bucket of chicken.
