they're not saying it can't be done BUT its not right. Sure it'll run and work but it wont last long. Besides the stock GSLSE fuel system is NOT enough for turbo. If the kid has 3K laying around I'd suggest pulling the engine selling it for $300-500 and just getting a TII JDM from Federal Way. Comes with ECU and sometimes with coils.

WAY better plan than this cornball one.

Third SE rotors are great, but also come with a 9.4 cr. thats getting up there. . If you have any Q's give me a pm, I have been running my full S-5 T2 82 FB for nearly two years.
*the stock couplers for the TII fit the conquest intercooler
*to my knowledge, higher gear ratio makes it harder to create boost due to reduced engine load perhaps another cause? also just a run around car, not a dragger.
*not concern about compression as its a matter of tuning. not running a ton of boost, i have enough insane cars.

If you read my first(?) post, it says with the correct fuel system. And I say go standalone. CJ

u could always go ask corksport how much id be. my buddy is getting his 323 swaped their n its a pretty extensive swap. but pretty much if i were u i wouldnt have sold the fc, it has the suspesion setup. you see there is like one company who makes coilovers for fb's trust me i've looked around and the only ones i've found are half body coilovers. the only thing that is superior about the fb's is the weight. now u can turbo the se or just do a tII swap or if ur feeling really cool then u can swap a 12at which is real cool but TII has much more potential. so if i were u keep the se stock for 6 months or so n LEARN, i was in ur postion last year and had no idea what an s5 was. so figure it out on the forums and ur learn a ton n then when u think u know ur **** then consider the turboing or swaping. trust me it'll save u time and money.

Actually a shorter rearend spins up the motor faster, which also spins up the turbine faster on the turbo, ask me how I know, I would be a little concearned about compression, especially on a rotary, I could detonate my turbo volvo all day and still drive it home. Detonate one time on a rotary, then the 9.5 wont be so cool. If it was only about tuning, why do all turbo cars come with lower cr motors, why would the factory do that. Way cheaper for them to make one set of rotors, for the whole product line. Then program the ecu for the turbo motor. What ever, I think you are underestimating making a turbo rotary from scratch.

actually i think things work out for the better as i aquired a TII setup minus transmission. (no biggy). Traded my spare GSLSE setup for it.

my buddy has run 14 psi on his s4 6 port turbowith no problems,
i run 10 psi on a supercharged 74 13b with n/a internals with out any problems and i am still running at stock timing with the advance hooked up.
