Is it worthy to replace the OEM body kit of FC RX7?

only if you dont get it done right i have seen many users on here with clean kit that arent "riced" like you see alot on honda's. mannykiller's build thread has multiple pictures imstillonjava her build is/was super clean its on the fourth page. RENESISFD has a highly aero modified car i have much respect for all builders on here and hope ill be able to do it some day as well

Get a good quality kit if you're doing one. Try not to make it too flashy either. Just simple kit is perfect.

If you are Broke...NO.
If you can toss money at Singing monkeys because they make you laugh.,then go for it!.
You pay to play.Pay to look good.
If you have the skills to put on a decent fitting kit then go for it.
A "Crappy looking" car does not effect the performance of the car.I'm not saying that the FC is ugly.I'm saying that if you spend on Bling, then you may be sitting there at the end if the day looking at a real nice Lawn ornament with a body kit and a neglected drivetrain.
Take care of the "GO Parts" first..worry about looks later.
You will never get what you sink into it back if you sell it so remember it is not an Investment but "love of the game".

The price of an FC is what you personally want to pay for and what they are going for.
Think of it this way: A Fruit stand sells fruit at $1.49..but down the street you can get that same fruit for $1.09..and if you go to the "reduced aisle" you get the Fruit for $.49 cents.
..Now,if you are shopping for an Fc and ask: is this car worth it?..
Do you want to pay that much,do you have that much money to pay for that car?.Is the car in Good condition?..etc,etc,so on,and so on.
Ultimately all this boils down to YOU.
It's not a Tech question,its not a Problem,it's a Personal choice.and that choice is yours.
People buy cars every day. Some go online and compare models, prices, mileage, condition, where the Car is,what the dealer is like.
.The list goes on..
where do you ask questions prices on Fc's..when you ask the seller,or by personal research.,online,on forum etc..
BUT it is also a Loaded question as you know that the Forum is Biased and will only want you to have an RX7,and if you do not do any research you can end up with junk.
Caveat Emptor: let the buyer beware...good words to live by.NO research=junk.
If you do not have the Info then ask someone that knows their stuff to accompany you.
..like Dad buying a car for his Son..after all Dad went through this stuff too!

The $1.48 is for the car that runs well and looks good. the $0.48 is the car that's been crashed, has no title, or has a blown engine. You can fix a broken car... but it takes a long time and a LOT of work as well as money to do it right. My opinion is to save some money up and buy a car that runs well and looks like the owner actually cared about it. A car that has been beat up on will probably beat up on your wallet in the long run. If your not looking to do a full build then save and buy a nice one and slowly mod it the way you like.

My car is still having cash tossed into it.6 years later.
It looks like Crap but it goes like a Cheetah on Crack.
All I am saying is a nice car that runs like **** isn't going to give you any satisfaction.Unless you like slow motion replays of golf!
Body kit options are great if the car is running decently. If not push that Thought aside for a bit and concentrate on better things.
If you intend on having the car for awhile then that kit will eventually get put on,Right?
Whatever you decide,Good luck to you.
