Wooping sound.. lack of boost on my FD.

Hi,

At the end of last summer I started having boost problems with my FD. Over winter I replaced all the vacuum lines & check valves (some were broken) and the Y-pipe for an Efini one (the other one had a small crack in the plastic).

Now, I was never able to hit boost higher than 3psi on my first turbo, and 6psi on my second... according to my boost gauge. Also, I would get this ''wooping'' sound (not the BOV) whenever I'd let the go of the throttle (see video below).

This isn't my FD, but I have the same issue. I'm referring to the sound at ''0:07''.

Now, fast forward to today, I assumed that changing the vacuum lines and the Y-pipe would fix my issues, but it hasn't. Still not getting full boost and still hearing that annoying ''woop'' whenever I get off the gas.

What is causing this issue? Has anyone experienced this before? I have been looking around but haven't been able to find anything.. except a video on YouTube with a similar issue.. but no fix .

My mods; PFC, Mid-pipe, Cat-back, Intercooler, Y-pipe, Intake, New Plugs (9), Good Wires, Twin Power, Stock Sequential.

Thanks!

Not your typical woop woop woop, but maybe your BOV isn't working so well. when you let off the gas and the throttle body closes some pressure that the BOV might be failing to relieve could be building up against the compressor, and the sound your hearing is the air slowing down/hitting the turbine. Just a thought, not entirely sure though
