IN wiring issues

ok to start off i ha 07/87 n/a i am turbo swaping it right now i have the tii wiring harness that plugs into the ecu (my rtek 2.1) but after painting the enging bay i look at the body harness the one on the driver side that wraps around to the front the front of the car that controls the head lights and all that.. my question is is this a two piece harness because im missing the harness that you hook your battery up to and the engine bay fuse box. do i need a whole new haness or whats going on. i do not see any cuts on on the harness its self what are my options i just want the car to run right and everything function properly. any help would be great thanks.

There are three main harnesses in the engine bay:

-Emissions harness (the one that connects to the ECU)

-Front harness (the one that wraps around the engine bay)

-Engine harness (the one that plugs into the front harness and runs to the alternator, starter, CAS on the driver side of the engine)

Sounds like you are missing the engine harness.

There are some minor changes from TII to NA as well. The alternator wiring is on the Engine harness of the TII, and the Emissions harness of the NA.

What happened to the original engine harness? Never had one?

Also it's much easier to use an NA emissions harness with a couple tiny modifications. Adapting a TII emissions harness to connect properly to an NA front harness will require re-doing many of the pins at the FEM-01 and FEM-02 junctions.
