Wiring help

Im trying to find the connection to the alternator. Reading the haynes manual it says 3 prong but altenator is a 2 prong. Im trying to run power to the car to see what all works, and the haynes manual isnt really helping. Can someone send me pictures of what im supposed to be looking for.

just put a battery in it. alt doesn't have to be connected for what you're wanting to do.

No battery wires. No positive. No negative. If you can send pictures of the engine bay that would be awesome.
