White fumes out of the exhaust
Cheers to all
Recently about 3 months I purchased my RX 7 year 96 and since last week quite a lot of white fumes is coming out of the exhaust. Went to the mechanic and he said that I must change the turbo - anyone can assist to confirm if I really need to change the turbo. also where I can purchase this turbo -

The three things that "smoke" could be are: condensation/steam, oil, or coolant.
Condensation comes out white and does not happen when the engine is started warm/hot. Condensation normally happens when you start up on a cool humid morning.
Oil burns bluish or black. Normally comes from turbo seals, although sometimes it's an oil control seal in the engine.
Coolant burns white and hangs around a lot. It smells sweet. It will smoke if you stop the car and start it again while warm. You may have trouble starting the car. You may find you need to add coolant regularly.
If you need new turbos, rebuilding them is usually not going to work. Most FD turbo housings are not in suitable condition for a rebuild, although many rebuild shops will do it anyway. I would buy low mileage used turbos (about $500) or a new set of 99 spec turbos ($2700).
