Where should i start looking?
S5 Vert, 126k Miles, NA, RTek 1.0, premix 1oz to one gal, manual, no PS, Magnaflow cat, stock everything else.
So my "problem" is that I have this whining sound that is best described as a turbo spooling up. I can only hear it after 3k or so RPMs. I can hear it from inside the car. Very distinct sound. It doesn't matter whether the clutch is pressed in, in gear, cruise, etc. It Has plenty of oil, 30+ psi at idle and around 60 psi over 3k.
I'm trying to figure out where I should start looking. Thx.
